Case StudiesAntioch Baptist ChurchSituation In 2003, the staff and congregation of the Antioch Baptist Church decided to design and build a new church in Gainesville. They had to work with a contractor to design a building, and then had to see the construction process through. As with all new construction, part of the plan included designing and installing an efficient HVAC system. Solution During the design stage, Conditioned Air Systems was contacted by the general contractor to design the HVAC system for the building. Conditioned Air Systems worked with the building designer to lay out the HVAC system and recommended the most efficient units possible. Once the design was complete and approved, the Antioch Baptist Church chose Carroll Daniel Construction Co. as the general contractor to erect the building. Carroll Daniel Construction Co. had an existing working relationship with Conditioned Air Systems, so it was a seamless transition to have Conditioned Air technicians manufacture and install the building’s HVAC system. Plus, since Conditioned Air Systems also designed the system there were no errors or confusion when working from the plans. Results The new facility for Antioch Baptist Church was completed on time and on budget. Conditioned Air Systems provided a competitively priced HVAC system that was professionally installed. Since Conditioned Air technicians remained part of the project team throughout the entire process they were able to get the job done without hassle. (top) |
