Commercial HVAC Services

No matter your business pursuits, there are similar factors in every successful company – and that includes keeping your customers and employees comfortable.

If you are a business owner or operating officer, the responsibility of achieving that end rests with you. And one of the chief means of achieving that factor comes by installing and maintaining a fully functional and efficient HVAC system in all your facilities. Comfortable employees and customers always make for a better bottom line. And an HVAC system designed to perfectly meet your needs also helps you avoid unnecessary costs.

With that in mind, know that Conditioned Air Systems is here to meet all your needs.

Superior Products and Service

Conditioned Air Systems is focused not just on keeping your company, commercial or municipal structure the perfect temperature year-round but also with supplying the best quality air for your employees and customers in the most efficient manner possible.

That means we work hard so that we can be certified dealers of industry leading HVAC components from TraneCarrier, LennoxDaikin and York in order to offer the widest range of options and equipment possible. All our technicians are NATE certified as well as continuously trained on the latest technological developments both from the above comfort leaders and across the HVAC industry in general. For example, the Trane Comfort Specialist™ label proudly worn by our technicians indicates that a dealer has met the highest Trane standards.

And because we understand technologies such as Variable Refrigerant Flow, we can ensure a comfortable climate in your facility, no matter how wide ranging your needs may be from room to room. So, whether it is air conditioning, heating (including heat pump and furnace Installation), or improved ventilation, we can meet your needs.

It is that recognition and commitment to quality – combined with a great working relationship with large construction contractors – that has allowed us to successfully install and maintain HVAC systems for a wide range of commercial and municipal ventures. That means that we can successfully rehab older systems, or work with your contractor to create a new system from the ground up.

Our broad knowledge of all HVAC manufacturers also allows us to service and repair ALL brands of HVAC, while honoring all manufacturer warrantees. So, if you need renovation or just fine-tuning of a previous HVAC system, we will help you achieve those outcomes in the most efficient manner possible.

Keeping Your Building Clean

There is so much more to successful HVAC than simply heating or cooling – and ensuring that your buildings circulate clean, hygienic air is equally important.

Conditioned Air Systems understands each aspect of HVAC, which is we install and maintain components that keep the air inside of our clients’ buildings as pure as possible. We can also help you clean and sterilize older systems. That means that we offer:

  • Air Duct Cleaning Services – Let us ensure that your ducts are not recycling dirty or compromised air that is full of mold, mildew, or pollens.
  • Air Purification Systems – The latest developments in HVAC allow you to breathe air that has been cleansed of all possible pathogens – including viruses, bacteria, and fungi – not to mention eliminating any mold, mildew, or pollens, as well as unwanted odors, with next generation technology.

Keeping Costs Low

We realize that, in business, the bottom line is king, which is Conditioned Air offers services designed to keep your costs low – as well as providing continuous reliability and efficiency for years to come.

  • Aeroseal Duct Sealing – Have an older building that needs rehabbing? We can restore old ducts with an award-winning, simple procedure that safely eliminates leaks and inefficient systems. This process ensures that all the air your HVAC produces is delivered – without costly loss or leakage. And Conditioned Air is the only Aeroseal dealer in north Georgia.
  • In House Fabrication – By manufacturing our own ductwork, we can keep costs low and pass those savings on to our clients.

Ensure Your Business is Never at a Loss

As important as clean, comfortable air is to your commercial needs, you also need to ensure that this system never breaks down. That is why we install and maintain generators of all sizes and shapes.

  • Generator Installation – If your building loses power not even the best HVAC system in the world can keep you comfortable. A built-in generator will keep your power running no matter what’s happening outside your building.

Upgrade an Older System

If you find your HVAC is not providing you with the comfort it once did – or you know it is at least 10 years or older, it may be time for a new system. And if that is the case, you may find yourself wondering exactly what you will need to maintain the comfort you once did without breaking the bank.

There is no need for concern. Yes, the technological advancements of HVAC can leave your head swimming, but that is why we sit down with our customers to walk them through every step of what they need and what their comfort and financial parameters include.

Conditioned Air Systems’ commercial HVAC team conducts a thorough evaluation of each building – or the proposal of a new construction – to determine the optimum system and necessary parts for you. After design, fabrication, and installation of your new or upgraded system, we guarantee all parts and labor and even offer around-the-clock emergency service. A regular service visit from a Conditioned Air Systems NATE certified technician is your best guarantee of keeping your system running at peak efficiency – as well as protection from unwanted repairs.

But when and if problems do occur, we have a series of basic check points to help you diagnose the problem before we arrive.

Below are some things you can do to prevent future equipment troubles and increase your system’s efficiency.

NOTE: Before undertaking any examination of your system, be sure the power is off to any piece of equipment you are examining. And if you have a larger system, please leave any troubleshooting to professionals.

One of the most important components in your heating and cooling system is the filter, and it’s the most inexpensive and easiest to replace. Especially during the peak hot and cold seasons, monthly inspections are a good rule of thumb for checking the air filter to ensure it is clean. A dirty filter can restrict airflow and cause excessive wear and tear on your equipment. Make sure to replace a dirty filter with the exact size and specifications recommended for your system. Also, take note of any moisture or signs of mildew or mold on the filter – this can indicate a serious problem with your system as well as with the overall health of your building’s air. Call us at the first sign of water or mold and our NATE-certified technicians will diagnose and offer the best solutions to resolve this issue.

Vents and Returns

Many air supply vents have adjustments in a building which can be closed, and in turn, cause air flow issues. The return vents should also be clear of any obstructions like furniture, insulation, paintings, etc. Make sure there is a clear path for air flow for peak efficiency. Watch for rust on metal vents which indicates potential issues with humidity control in your system. You will want to address this immediately by calling Conditioned Air Systems for a service technician to diagnose the problem and offer the best solution for your situation.

Programmable thermostats seem daunting to many business owners, but it is well worth your time to learn how to set it according to your specific schedule. When you are inside your building, your thermostat can keep your building’s temperature set to your desired level of comfort.  Then, when you are away and your building is empty, you can save significantly on energy costs by programming your thermostat to run the HVAC unit less. Take the time to learn your thermostat or have one of our experienced technicians walk you through the process.

Some thermostats require batteries for proper operation. Check and replace the batteries by removing the front cover of the thermostat. A good rule of thumb is to replace your HVAC’s thermostat batteries every six months at the same time you change smoke and fire detector batteries in your building.

If the system isn’t responding to commands at the thermostat, check to see if the circuit breakers have been thrown. (Typically, there are two breakers per system.) Caution: Circuit breakers carry high voltage power and there is a shock risk. Do not attempt to remove or replace breakers unless accompanied by a trained professional.

Outdoor Unit

One of the most common mistakes business owners make is accidentally damaging the outside unit of their HVAC system. This typically happens with a lawnmower or weed trimmer. Also, tall grass, leaves, walls, and fences that block airflow to the unit can strain and cause damage to your system.  It’s best to keep between 1 and 3 feet of clearance around the outdoor unit with at least 4 to 6 feet clearance overhead.

Fuel Levels

During the heating season for customers with Liquid Propane (LP) gas or oil furnaces, periodically check that your tank has fuel. We receive at least two calls every year where the tank is empty upon arrival.
