Giving Back Locally
Conditioned Air Systems is committed to uplifting our community by supporting organizations that make a strong and lasting impact across the area. In 2024, our team proudly helped raise $79,000 for United Way, reflecting our dedication to giving back. We are honored to partner with the following groups through charitable giving and hands-on involvement.

Comfort for homes. Support for neighbors. A commitment that started in 1983.
For more than 40 years, Conditioned Air Systems has served North Georgia with dependable HVAC and plumbing solutions. Since Doug Magnus founded CAS in 1983, our purpose has reached beyond equipment and service calls: to treat people like family and leave our community better than we found it.
Being local means showing up—for customers, schools, nonprofits, and the organizations that make our region strong. This page shares how we give back, how we operate responsibly, and how you can partner with us.
Our Community Promise
What you can expect from CAS—today and every year
- People first: We lend our time, expertise, and resources to efforts that improve safety, comfort, and opportunity for North Georgia families.
- Local focus: We support initiatives in the communities where our customers and employees live and work.
- Lasting impact: We choose projects where our skills—HVAC, plumbing, energy efficiency, safety—create tangible, long-term value.
- Accountability: We communicate clearly with partners, follow through, and measure results so programs can grow year after year.
How CAS Gives Back
1. Families & Neighbors
- Comfort support during extremes: When the weather turns severe, we prioritize vulnerable households (subject to availability) with rapid response, safety checks, and guidance on staying safe and cool/warm.
- Community sponsorships: CAS contributes to local events and neighborhood programs that bring people together and strengthen support networks.
2. Youth, Schools & Skilled Trades
- Career awareness in the trades: Classroom talks, ride-alongs, and shop tours that show students what a modern HVAC career looks like.
- Training support: We encourage apprenticeships and exam-prep assistance so the next generation can earn industry certifications and build stable, well-paid careers.
3. Energy Efficiency & Savings
- Rebate & audit guidance: Through our partnerships with Georgia Power and local EMCs, we help customers navigate equipment rebates and efficiency audits, stretching budgets while lowering energy use.
- Homeowner education: Seasonal tips and workshops on maintenance, IAQ (indoor air quality), filtration, and smart-use habits that reduce bills and improve comfort.
4. Health, Safety & Preparedness
- Safety-first culture, shared locally: Our internal standards—background checks, drug-free workplace, weekly safety meetings—inform community safety demos and checklists for homes and small businesses.
- Rapid-response mindset: When issues arise, we coordinate with local partners to mobilize quickly and support those who need help most.
