Improve your Indoor Air Quality

When you think of HVAC – that’s Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning – what comes to mind?

More than likely it’s about staying cool in the blistering Georgia summer or staying warm and dry during a damp, dreary winter.

But apart from actual comfort, do you think much about what is in the air your HVAC pumps throughout your home or business?

If not, then you’re not seeing the whole picture. Because comfort is about more than just temperature and humidity – it’s also about your health. And the air you breathe every day is a massive part of not only how you feel, but your entire health picture. After all, when you think about what’s in the air you breathe – allergens, bacteria, viruses, mold, fungi, etc. – it’s easy to see why the quality of the air circulating through your ductwork is just as important as the temperature of it.

The good news is that, thanks to technological advancements in the HVAC industry, you can now make that air as clean as possible with relative ease.

For instance, many HVAC companies now offer and install next generation filters, which do a much more thorough job cleansing the air that flows through your air conditioning and heating units. However, new filters are just the tip of the iceberg. In fact, there are now technologies available that can scrub the air in your home or business with the type of cleaning power once reserved for major government, corporations, or military installations.

For example, look no further than the HALO-LED.

Developed by RGF Environmental Group, Inc., the HALO-LED utilizes ultraviolet-C light to pack a cleaning punch that is truly astounding.

First a quick primer: Scientific studies show that ultraviolet-C (UV-C) light significantly destroys pathogens – including the viruses and bacteria that cause severe illness, such as the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19.

So, how does the HALO-LED work?

The HALO-LED will utilize UV-C light in a manner that cleanses the air in an entire home or business. Installed by qualified technicians, the HALO offers HVAC’s first LED in-duct, whole home, air purification system that is both mercury free and zero ozone compliant. In fact, the HALO air purification system proactively treats every cubic inch of air-conditioned space in a structure, reducing airborne and surface contaminants and pollutants – as well as reducing smoke and odors. It does this via bi-polar ionization and revolutionary, patent pending, REME-LED™ technology.

Does the HALO-LED require work on your part?

No. This amazing little machine actually comes with self-cleaning parts, a long-lasting battery, and a seven-year warranty – meaning that the technician installs it, and you don’t have to do anything else other than have it checked during the routine maintenance inspections that your entire HVAC system should undergo twice yearly.

What are the specifics of the HALO-LED?

This machine contains a new hybrid hydrophilic catalyst incorporating the industry’s first washable ceramic catalyst for high load environments. It includes automatic self-cleaning ionizers with carbon fiber brushes to reduce particulates (patent pending).

It also has unlimited cycling capabilities designed to turn on and off with the HVAC system.

This setup reduces airborne and surface microbials, bacteria, viruses, and mold and, reduces odors including smoke as well as VOCs, allergens, dust, and particulate throughout the home. That means that home or business owners that have one of these units installed knows the air inside their structures is as clean as possible. This reality offers a decreased chance at coming into contact with the microbes that make us sick or suffer allergic reactions (such as a stuffy nose or watery eyes).

It is next-level technology, and it is now available to everyone.

Who installs the HALO-LED?

Not every HVAC company can install these machines, as it requires both an understanding of technology and a commitment to quality that the HALO-LED producers demand.

However, Conditioned Air Systems offers HALO-LED installation to customers right here in north Georgia and metro Atlanta.

This advancement is just the latest in Conditioned Air Systems’ commitment to providing our customers with the best home environment possible.
